The all-weather SL2000 slide gate opener is designed
for slide gates up to 500 lbs. and that open up to 20 ft.
The kit
includes the 24V
DC motor,
control box,
electro-plated chassis, transformer, chain (size 41), brackets and hardware
kit. Our control box features large replaceable
terminals, multiple diagnostic LEDs to help with troubleshooting, and
quick-install settings. Designed
for long-lasting, trouble-free performance and is UL 325 safety standard
compliant. Made in the USA.

Powering the
SL2000
The Polaris Slide Gate openers require 110V
AC power. Each gate operator should be electrically attached it its
own 20 amp circuit breaker.
A transformer converts 110-volt AC power to 24
volt DC power, which runs into the gate operator's control board
via a multi-stranded direct burial wire.
Run the electricity to the opener does not require
battery unless battery backup is desired.
If you lose AC power, the gate opener battery will
hold it's charge and cycle several times before running out of power.
Battery back-up is an optional feature
and can operate the gate opener when AC power is disrupted.
